Artificial Graphite
Artificial graphite with high purity and high graphitization facilitates to generate transfer membrane between the friction materials and the dual surfaces. Excellent performance of abrasion reduction, high thermal conductivity, excellent oxidation resistance and high temperature resistance.
Low impurity content: No hard granules which would create noise and scratch on the dual surface such as silicon carbide.
Good porosity: It stabilizes the friction coefficient, reduces heat recession and promotes restorability.
In oil drilling industry, fine graphite powder is used as Plugging agent.
